The first 400 meters of the cave are illuminated with artificial lights and are open to visitors. Semuc Champey, just a few minutes bejond Lanquìn on a rough road, is a natural bridge about half-kilometres long. The CahabonRiver thunders into a cavern at the top of the bridge and emerges at the base of a steep wall on the bridge’s lower side. A series of beautiful pools on top of the bridge form anidyllic spot for swimming and picnicking.
