Puerto Barrios, the capital of the Izabal department, Puerto Barrios is a bustling port where visitors can still see containers of bananas being loaded onto freighters bound for Europe and the United States. SALAMA AND RABINAL

Salamá is the capital of the department of Baja Verapaz, the visitors will be able to cross the ruins of a sugar plantation that established the Dominican friars in the town of San Jeronimo in the century XVI.
